Irans Vorschläge an den Westen, globale Probleme zu lösen
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi has said that Iran’s package of proposals to the West deals with global issues, including WMD* disarmament, a solution to the economic crisis, and ways of dealing with cultural and moral problems.
He said that Iran enjoys great legitimacy following the elections, which had 85% turnout.
He also noted that Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki had met with the Turkish foreign minister and with the secretary-general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to discuss the slaughter of Muslims in China.
