Reformist Leader Mehdi Karroubi calls on Iranian citizens to speak up and take to the streets – Mehdi Karroubi, the Secretary General of Etemad Melli Party, stated during a Central Committee session called on Iranian citizens to take their protest to the streets: “we are under unusual circumstances, so we can’t stand idle. We must show we are resolved not to quit the field. I am sure the public will protest on Qods [Jerusalem] Day, demonstrating once again they are determined to fight for their rights”.

Wenn in Teheran an diesem Tag die Menschen gegen Ahmedinejad, der diesen Tag wieder so bekannt gemacht hat, demonstrieren würden, das wäre eine wahrhafte Freude.
