Iranian Jurist: Cutting Off Hands Is Fitting Punishment For Theft

Iranian deputy chief judiciary official Ebrahim Raisi has said that punishments such as cutting off hands, which is decreed by the regime for thieves, is an object of pride for the country’s judiciary authority.

He said that this practice elevates Iran’s judiciary above its counterparts in other countries.
