Ach, warum man nur die Zeit nicht zurückdrehen kann – sie hätten sich so wohlgefühlt, die Repräsentanten der „Islamischen Republik Iran“ im kaputten Europa der dreissiger Jahre. Vernichtungsdrohungen ausstoßen, Feinde benennen, Frieden beschwören und wieder Feinde benennen, wahnhaften Unsinn erzählen, derweil untermalt vom Dröhnen der Panzermotoren Wehrertüchtigungslager einrichten. Der Führer hätte seine Freude gehabt ( „Sind ja doch Arier!“) und Goebbels hätte geklatscht (Chapeau! Diese Fanatiker!) und Volontäre des Propagandaministeriums nach Teheran geschickt. Aber irgendwie sind sie aus der Zeit gefallen und schnöde Epigonen heißt man sie…

Referring to former US president Dwight Eisenhower’s “Atoms for Peace” slogan and incumbent President Barack Obama’s “world free of nuclear weapons” vision, Soltanieh [der iranische Vertreter bei der IAEA]  said, “Undoubtedly the international community does not trust the US, the only country to have used and which possesses thousands of nuclear arms, and questions this country’s political will and integrity in nuclear disarmament and elimination.” “Iran, as a responsible country, is committed to international obligations regarding the NPT and Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban and wants a world free of nuclear weapons,” he concluded. via Press TV

The Basij Get Tough. Basij Commander Yaghoub Soleymani has said school students will be sent to military camps in the south for „practical defense preparation“. At least 6000 students will be involved daily from late October.
