Swiss civil aviation organization says the country has stopped delivering fuel to Iran Air in Geneva, Assre-Iran daily reported Sunday. Anton Koehler the spokesman of the organization reiterated that the Iran Air flights to Geneva has however not been canceled.
The company in charge of fueling aircrafts at the airport has confirmed the report adding the company has had stopped fueling the airline already in April.
In line with the sanctions against Iran for its controversial nuclear program several European countries and also oil companies have halted fueling of Iranian passenger carriers.
After Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Austria, Iran air had to cease its weekly flight to Rome due to same problem.
