Sozusagen nur dokumentarisch; ein Beitrag des in England beheimateten iranischen Propagandakanals Press TV über einen kleinen Streit im sog. iranischen „Parlament“ bezüglich des „Präsidenten“. Wiegesagt, nichts besonderes.

Der Präsident zeigt dem Parlament die Ernennung eines neuen Ministers an, das „Parlament“  bestreitet allerdings überhaupt die Rechtmäßigkeit dieses neu zusammengefaßten Ministeriums, ein Parlamentarier sagt, die Benachrichtigung über den neuen Minister sei „ein Kelch voll Gift“; und das alles kommt als selbstverständlicher Beitrag auf einem Staatspropagandasender. Der Machtkampf innerhalb des Establishments läuft auf vollen Touren, und auf Ahmedinejad wird aus allen Rohren gefeuert.

Iran slams global agencies as US instruments

GENEVA (AFP) – Iran’s parliament speaker Ali Larijani on Monday launched a scathing attack against international bodies, saying that they have been used by major powers like the United States to detrimental ends.

„The unfair and unjust power structure in the international arena has led to the instrumental use of the specialised international bodies; a situation detrimental to the present and future of mankind,“ Larijani told the World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments meeting in Geneva.

Iran Seeking to Boost Cooperation with Arab States

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iranian Foreign Ministry official revealed that Tehran intends to refurbish ties with the Arab countries in a move to mend its relations with those states with which it has a low record of diplomatic activity, including Jordan and Egypt.

„The Islamic Republic of Iran seeks to enhance cooperation with Arab countries, including Jordan and Egypt,“ Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Office for Middle-Eastern Affairs Qazanfar Roknabadi said in an exclusive interview with FNA on Friday.

Iran speaker accuses Obama of state terrorism

TEHRAN (AFP) – Parliament speaker Ali Larijani, Iran’s former chief nuclear negotiator, accused US President Barack Obama of state terrorism on Wednesday over the killing in Tehran of a leading atomic scientist.

In an angry address to Iran’s conservative-dominated parliament, Larijani reiterated Iranian charges that the US Central Intelligence Agency and Israel’s Mossad were behind the scientist’s death in a bombing on Tuesday.

„Such filthy actions are easy to carry out but such adventurism will do you no good,“ the ISNA news agency quoted Larijani as saying in reference to Obama.

Lebanese Daily: Mubarak Conveyed Message From Iran To Gulf Countries

The Lebanese daily Al-Nahar reports that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has conveyed a message to the Gulf countries, where he visited last week, a „reassuring message“ from Iranian Majlis speaker Ali Larijani, that Iran would respond to an Israeli attack on its nuclear facilities by striking only at targets inside Israel.

The message added that if Iran were to be attacked from U.S. bases in the Gulf countries, it would attack the bases, and therefore the Gulf countries must prevent an attack on Iran from their territory.

Iran Fails To Respond To Iraq’s Inquiry About Nuclear Facility At Border

Iran has declined so far to provide Iraq with information regarding its intention to build a uranium enrichment plant near its border with Basra in southern Iraq.

The construction of such a plant near a major Iraqi city is a major source of concern for the Iraqis, because of possible water pollution, health risks or radioactivity.

A former Iraqi air force officer said that Iran’s construction of a nuclear plant in an oil-rich area is a way of avoiding an air strike that could damage nearby oil fields and could cause an international economic crisis.

Provokationen vor Atomgesprächen

Teheran/Paris. Kurz vor weiteren Verhandlungen zwischen dem Westen und dem Iran im Atomstreit haben die Perser am Dienstag erneut Drohungen Richtung Westen geschickt: „Die Verhandlungen am Donnerstag in Genf sind eine historische Gelegenheit. Sollte die UNO darauf beharren, dass wir die Urananreicherung einstellen, können wir auch andere, schwerwiegende Entscheidungen treffen“, sagte Parlamentspräsident Ali Larijani.

Es gab tosenden Applaus im iranischen Parlament für die Ankündigung Larijanis. „Der Iran wird sicherlich nicht zulassen, dass seine Rechte eingeschränkt werden. Da können noch so viele UN-Resolutionen und Sanktionspakete verhängt werden. Wir haben auch Mittel, um gegen etwaige Ungerechtigkeiten zu reagieren“, fügte Larijani hinzu.

Terrorist Ahmad Vahidi mit hohem Vertrauensvotum

Vahidi grinst sich eins und so ganz nebenbei schreibt Fars den Horroranschlag aus dem Jahr 1994 in Buenos Aires zur jüdischen Verschwörungstheorie um.

In Majlis, Iran’s Defense Minister-Designate Ahmad Vahidi Gains Highest Confidence Vote

The Iranian news agency Fars reports that Iranian lawmakers voted overwhelmingly today in favor of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s pick for defense minister, with 227 MPs casting their ballots in favor of Ahmad Vahidi, Majlis speaker Ali Larijani told reporters.

The report went on to say: „Western and Israeli media reports claimed that Mr. Vahidi is wanted by Interpol in connection with the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires, which left 85 dead and wounded more than 300 others. Iran has strongly denied the allegations, saying that Alberto Nisman, the prosecutor of the case, had received huge sums of money from Jewish lobby groups in Argentina to accuse Tehran of the bombing.„

Eine entscheidende Frage

Jenseits der Straßenproteste – die auch heute, das darf man nicht vergessen, spontan und ohne übergeordnete Organisation stattfinden –, sowie jenseits der diversen Bücklinge in diversen Abstufungen seitens des Westens, was sagt dem unvoreingenommenen Betrachter dieser Tag der Vereidigung?

Nun, sie haben ihn einigermaßen hinbekommen bisher, ohne jeden Glanz, ein Minimalprogramm. Wie erwartet, haben die „Reformer“ gefehlt, der Rest hockte wie am Montag mit etwas freudlosen Gesichtern abkommandiert herum. Iranian Majlis speaker Ali Larijani has appointed a committee to examine the condition of the detainees arrested during the protests following the June 12 presidential elections in the country.

The committee, which will act under his supervision, will consult with senior security and judicial officials, and will visit places where the detainees are being held.

It was reported that so far the intelligence and interior ministers are ignoring the request by 40 Majlis members to investigate the issue of the detainees.
