Die im Gazastreifen herrschende Palästinenserorganisation Hamas hat nach israelischen Angaben erfolgreich eine Rakete getestet, die eine Reichweite bis Tel Aviv hat.
Tagesspiegel — Der Chef des israelischen Militärgeheimdienstes, Amos Jadlin, sagte am Dienstag vor einem parlamentarischen Ausschuss in Jerusalem, die Rakete mit einer Reichweite von 60 Kilometern sei in den vergangenen Tagen vom Gazastreifen aus in Richtung Meer abgefeuert worden. Es handle sich offenbar um eine im Iran hergestellte Rakete.
Der Test zeige, dass auch der internationale Flughafen Ben Gurion bei Tel Aviv inzwischen in Reichweite von Raketen-Angriffen aus dem Gazastreifen sei, schrieben israelische Medien.
Angeblich kein Interesse an Gewalt
Vor der israelischen Militäroffensive im Gazastreifen zur Jahreswende hatten militante Palästinenser zahlreiche Raketen auf Israel abgefeuert. Seit dem Gaza-Krieg kommt es nur noch sporadisch zu solchen Angriffen.
Jadlin sagte, die Hamas habe gegenwärtig kein Interesse an gewaltsamen Konfrontationen mit Israel. Die radikal-islamische Organisation wolle zunächst ihre Kontrolle im Gazastreifen vertiefen.
Gleichzeitig gehe allerdings der Waffenschmuggel in den Gazastreifen über das ägyptische Grenzgebiet weiter. Hamas- Mitglieder bemühten sich dabei, Raketen mit grösseren Reichweiten zu bekommen.

Three decades have passed since the miraculous initiative of the late Imam in designating the last Friday of the month of Ramadan as the universal Day of Qods. The invaluable achievements of this global congregation have contributed to greater vigilance and global campaign against oppression.
With the disclosure of the treacherous schemes of arrogant powers and supporters of the usurper Zionist regime world nations are now ever more determined to resolve the issue of Palestine.
