Gegen den Al-Quds Tag in Wien!

Am 3. August 2013 wird der so genannte „Al-Quds-Tag“ zum wiederholten Mal auch in Wien stattfinden. Eingeführt wurde er 1979 nach der islamischen Revolution im Iran von Ayatollah Khomeini. Der „Tag zur Befreiung Jerusalems von der zionistischen Besatzung“, also die Propaganda zur Vernichtung Israels, sollte jährlich am Ende des Ramadans abgehalten werden. Eine von Mullahs angeführte, nach Geschlechtern getrennte Demonstration folgt diesem Ruf auch in Wien. Im Jargon des Friedens wird die Auslöschung Israels gefordert. Dabei wird die Fahne jener Organisation mitgeführt, die weltweit für zahlreiche tödliche Anschläge, insbesondere gegen Juden und Jüdinnen, verantwortlich ist: Die der Hisbollah.

Unter dem Deckmantel der „friedlichen Nutzung“ der Atomenergie wird in Teheran an jener Atombombe gearbeitet, die das Ende Israels besiegeln soll. Es waren und sind die europäischen Staaten und insbesondere Österreich, die durch ihre politische Kooperation in den letzten 30 Jahren und durch den fortgesetzten Handel mit dem iranischen Regime die Ajatollahs überhaupt in die Lage versetzen, ihr Atomprogramm, ihre Propaganda und die Repression gegen die Bevölkerung fortzusetzen.

Die Aggressionen des iranischen Regimes, das Konferenzen zur Leugnung des Holocausts veranstaltet und in Wien nicht nur mit seiner Botschaft, sondern auch durch deren „Kulturabteilung“ in der Schottenfeldgasse und durch die Imam Ali Moschee in der Mollardgasse präsent ist,  richten sich nicht nur gegen den jüdischen Staat. Betroffen vom blutigen Terror sind auch all jene Iraner und Iranerinnen, die sich der Reglementierung ihres Lebens durch das Regime zu entziehen versuchen – egal, ob es sich um politisch Aktive, Gewerkschafter, Homosexuelle, religiöse Minderheiten oder einfach nur Jugendliche handelt, die ihr Leben selbstbestimmt und ohne dem andauernden Zwang der Sharia leben wollen.

Gegen diese Unterdrückung des je einzelnen Lebensglücks entlud sich 2009 die angestaute Wut in Massenprotesten gegen das Regime. Millionen von Menschen brachten die „islamische Republik“ an den Rand einer Niederlage. Sie blamierten den staatlich organisierten Israelhass, indem sie die Parolen der Islamisten, die Israel den Tod wünschen, mit regimekritischen Parolen wie „Putin, Chávez, Nasrallah, ihr seid die wahren Feinde des Irans“ und „Weder Gaza (sprich: Hamas) noch der Libanon (sprich: Hisbollah), unser Leben für den Iran“ konterten und dem Regime mit Parolen wie „Marg Bar Jomhurriye Eslami“ („Nieder mit der islamischen Republik!“) eine Absage erteilten. Es war unter anderem dem Schweigen des Westens und dem damit einhergehenden Verrat an der iranischen Freiheitsbewegung geschuldet, dass die Diktatur der Ajatollahs diesen Protest überstand.

Neben den Revolutionswächtern war auch die Hisbollah maßgeblich an der mörderischen Aufstandsbekämpfung beteiligt. Die gelb-grüne Fahne der „Partei Gottes“ wird auch hierzulande auf den jährlichen Al-Quds-Aufmärschen mitgeführt. Die Hisbollah wurde in den 1980er-Jahren als Ableger der islamischen Revolution im Libanon unter massiver Mithilfe des Irans gegründet und wird bis heute vom Regime in Teheran finanziell unterstützt. Selbst nach dem Terroranschlag im bulgarischen Burgas 2012, dem fünf israelische Touristen und ein bulgarischer Busfahrer zum Opfer fielen, konnte sich die EU bisher nicht dazu durchringen, die Hisbollah auf die Liste terroristischer Organisationen zu setzten.

Das Bündnis „Gegen den Al-Quds Tag in Wien“ wird daher am 3. August gegen den islamistischen Propagandaaufmarsch in Wien in Solidarität mit den Revoltierenden im Iran und in der Hoffnung, dass die Friedhofsruhe aus Hinrichtungen, Folterungen und Tugendterrorismus ehest endet, demonstrieren und fordern:

Kein Al-Quds-Tag in Wien und anderswo! Solidarität mit der Freiheitsbewegung im Iran und der säkularen Opposition im Iran und im Exil! Solidarität mit Israel!
Hisbollah auf die EU-Terrorliste! Für schärfere und konsequente Sanktionen gegen das iranische Regime! Keine Geschäfte mit antisemitischen Regimes und Bewegungen!

Aus diesem Grund findet auch eine Veranstaltungsreihe statt, die eine Informationskampagne über einzelne Spezifika des iranischen Regimes sein soll.

Press TV und das Märchen vom israelischen Tränengas für ägyptische Polizisten

Press TV, die vom iranischen Regime finanzierte Propagandamaschine, hat längst aufgehört, ein irgendwie glaubwürdiges Medienunternehmen zu sein. Ein Beispiel dafür ist ihre neue Geschichte zur ägyptischen Krise:

Berichten zufolge hat Israel jede Menge Waffen zur Auflösung von Menschenansammlungen an das ägyptische Regime geliefert, um die massiven Proteste gegen Präsident Hosni Mubaraks 30 Jahre autoritärer Herrschaft zu ersticken

Das ’International Network for Rights and Development’ sagte, dass am Samstag drei israelische Flugzeuge auf dem Kairoer Mina International Airport gelandet sind und Ausrüstung zur Auflösung und Zerschlagung von großen Menschenansammlungen an Bord hatten, berichtete ein Korrespondent von Press TV.
Dem Bericht zufolge erhielten ägyptische Sicherheitskräfte die Ladung der drei israelischen Flugzeuge, die offensichtlich aus einer Menge international geächteten Gases zur Auflösung von Menschenansammlungen geladen hatte.

Abgesehen von meiner natürlichen Skepsis gegenüber dieser Anschuldigung soweiso sollte jede Geschichte, die mit der Phrase „Berichten zufolge“ eingeleitet wird, aus journalistischer Perspektive gesehen die Alarmglocken schrillen lassen.

Der vorderste Frontverlauf der „globalen islamischen Revolution“

Die Vertreter der „Islamischen Republik Iran“ nehmen manchmal aber wirklich kein Blatt vor den Mund. 

IRGC Official calls Lebanon, Palstine „Iran’s Front Line“. […] „Today Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq are considered as the front lines for (potential) attacks against Iran, and our support for Hamas is aimed at protecting the front line of the global Islamic Revolution,“ Supreme Leader’s Representative to the IRGC Hojjatoleslam Ali Saeedi said on Wednesday.

It’s the Regime, Stupid!

Yaakov Katz führt in der Jerusalem Post aus, warum Israel – also: die zivilisierte Welt – vermutlich nicht von der Ermordung Ahmadinedschads profitiert hätte:

Since his rise to power in 2005, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has to some extent served Israel’s interests. His denial of the Holocaust and persistent calls to destroy Israel have drawn the world’s attention to Iran’s covert military nuclear program, which led this past June to a new round of sanctions.

For the same reason, ahead of last summer’s rigged presidential elections, some Israeli officials privately expressed hope that Ahmadinejad would win, and not his contender, reformist candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi.

While a candidate like Mousavi would likely not change anything in Iran’s race to become a nuclear power, and would continue to build the bomb, his more moderate appearance and rhetoric would assist the Islamic Republic in “laundering” the program. As a result, the international community would likely be more reluctant to pass tough sanctions and engage Iran in tough diplomacy. Ahmadinejad’s continued tenure helps ensure the pressure on Iran is kept up.

All of which is relevant given the reports on Wednesday – officially denied by Iran – that Ahmadinejad had been the target of a failed assassination attempt, and the inevitable raising of eyebrows in Israel’s direction. Unser offener Brief war eine Kritik des Statements von 74 iranischen Intellektuellen, die von sich behaupten, sie fühlten sich der oppositionellen »Grünen Bewegung« zugehörig. In ihrem Schrei­ben haben sie behauptet, der Kampf der »Grünen Bewegung« im Iran sei derselbe wie der Kampf der palästinischen Bewegung gegen Israel – was schlicht nicht stimmt. Ihre Stellungnahme war unfair und ungerecht. Die Grüne Bewegung im Iran ist eine gewaltfreie Bewegung. Die palästinensische Bewegung benutzt dagegen Gewalt in großem Ausmaß. Nicht nur gegen Israelis, sondern auch gegen die Palästinenser selbst. Ich habe gelesen, dass in der ersten Intifada etwa die Hälfte der palästinischen Opfer von Palästinensern getötet wurden – als Kollaborateure. Die Grüne Bewegung ist nicht so. Saudi Arabia gives Israel clear skies to attack Iranian nuclear sites

Dies berichtet die Times aus London:

Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to stand down its air defences to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times can reveal.

In the week that the UN Security Council imposed a new round of sanctions on Tehran, defence sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow corridor of its airspace in the north of the country to shorten the distance for a bombing run on Iran. To ensure the Israeli bombers pass unmolested, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defence systems not activated. Once the Israelis are through, the kingdom’s air defences will return to full alert.

“The Saudis have given their permission for the Israelis to pass over and they will look the other way,” said a US defence source in the area. “They have already done tests to make sure their own jets aren’t scrambled and no one gets shot down. Propaganda war latest: Tehran 3 Israel 0

Amir Taheri berichtet in der Times über die iranische Strategie im Kampf gegen Israel, die dieser Tage leider aufzugehen scheint:

As Iran’s leadership prepares to dispatch a Red Crescent flotilla to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza, its propaganda organs are spreading one message throughout the Muslim world: the Jewish state, branded by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as “the Zionist stain of shame”, is heading for its inevitable destruction.

An Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said of these aid ships that “if this symbolic campaign continues, it will result in the surrender of the Zionist regime, which will certainly be one of its biggest defeats”.

Over the past three years, Iran’s Khomeinist regime has succeeded in changing the traditional perception of Israel. Instead of Israel being the almost invincible enemy that crushed the Arabs in the Yom Kippur War and the Six Day War, it is now portrayed as a waning power, a small and vulnerable enclave that, having lost the support of its powerful protector, the United States, is facing the might of a resurgent Muslim world under Tehran’s leadership. UN Iran sanctions vote likely pushed back

Und noch ein Ziel haben die „Friedensaktivisten“ erreicht:

A vote on a new UN Iran sanctions resolution will likely be pushed back due to diplomatic fallout from the Israeli raid on the Gaza aid flotilla, among other reasons, sources said Wednesday.

The Obama administration had been planning to bring a new Iran sanctions resolution to a vote at the UN Security Council on Thursday, but diplomatic sources said the vote is no longer likely to take place this week.

Bombardieren oder besser nicht?

Yossi Melman berichtet für Cicero nichts Neues, fasst aber zusammen, warum Israel über einen Militärschlag gegen das iranische Atomwaffenprogramm nachdenken muss und welche Probleme damit verbunden sind. Seinem Fazit schließlich ist nichts hinzuzufügen:

Das Dilemma, dem sich Israel und die internationale Gemeinschaft gegenübersehen, lautet: Bombardieren oder nicht? Es wird die existenzielle Entscheidung sein, die eine israelische Regierung zu treffen hat. Und es ist keine Entscheidung zwischen gut und besser, sondern zwischen schlecht und am schlechtesten.

When Armageddon lives next door

Der israelische Historiker Benny Morris über die iranische Bombe, Israel und Barack Obama:

I take it personally: Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, wants to murder me, my family and my people. Day in, day out, he announces the imminent demise of the „Zionist regime,“ by which he means Israel. And day in, day out, his scientists and technicians are advancing toward the atomic weaponry that will enable him to bring this about.

The Jews of Europe (and Poles, Russians, Czechs, the French, etc.) should likewise have taken personally Adolf Hitler’s threats and his serial defiance of the international community from 1933 to 1939. But he was allowed, by the major powers and the League of Nations, to flex his muscles, rearm, remilitarize the Rhineland and then gobble up neighboring countries. Had he been stopped before the invasion of Poland and the start of World War II, the lives of many millions, Jews and Gentiles, would have been saved. But he wasn’t.

Former Def. Minister: Israel Will Attack Iran by Nov.

Auch wenn solche Meldungen von Natur aus höchst spekulativ sind und in ähnlicher Form seit längerer Zeit zu vernehmen sind – momentan arbeitet die Obama-Regierung zweifelsfrei mit Hochdruck daran, Israel zu eben jenem Verteidigungsschlag zu zwingen:

Israel will be compelled to attack Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities by this November unless the U.S. and its allies enact “crippling sanctions that will undermine the regime in Tehran,” former deputy defense minister Brig. Gen. Ephraim Sneh said on Wednesday in Tel Aviv.

The sanctions currently being discussed with Russia, China, and other major powers at the United Nations are likely to be a slightly-enhanced version of the U.N. sanctions already in place, which have had no impact on the Iranian regime.

And despite unanimous passage of the Iran Petroleum Sanctions Act in January, the Obama administration continues to resist efforts by Congress to impose mandatory sanctions on companies selling refined petroleum products to Iran. [Weiterlesen…]

‚Obama resigned to nuclear Iran‘

John Boltons Einschätzung:

“I very much worry the Obama administration is willing to accept a nuclear Iran, that’s why there’s this extraordinary pressure on Israel not to attack in Iran,” Bolton told Army Radio.

The former envoy claimed that this pressure was the focus of last week’s meetings in Washington between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyhau and US officials, including President Barack Obama.

Bolton said that the Obama administration had embraced the view, prevalent in Europe, that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was the key to the resolution of all other conflicts throughout the Middle East, including the Iranian conflict.

He added that the rift in US-Israel relations stemmed from a fundamental difference in the understanding of the Middle East and Israel’s role in the Middle East, and is not really about east Jerusalem at all.

Bolton said that the treatment Netanyahu received during his visit „should tell the people of Israel how difficult it’s going to be dealing with Washington for the next couple of years.“

Wenn das der Führer noch hören könnte!

Der „Präsident“ weiht einen Staudamm ein; über was spricht er zur Eröffnung? Genau, da wäre man von selbst auch drauf gekommen. Natürlich über die Juden. Aber so differenziert hat sich Dr. Mahmoud schon lange nicht geäußert, ja, er beweist plötzlich eine Bauernschläue, eine Gewitztheit – und ein gerüttelt Maß an Verständnis für den vom Zionismus geknechteten Westen. Da sich im Westen keiner traut Israel plattzumachen: dann soll sich der Westen halt raushalten. Solange kein neuer Führer in Sicht ist jedenfalls. Man darf nurmehr drauf warten, wann der erste „Antizionist“ kommt und das als Dialogangebot anpreist.

„We don’t want you to take a position against Israel; you cannot do that,“ he said, speaking at a ceremony at Shahrekord in central Iran for the inauguration of a hydroelectric dam across Iran’s largest river, Karun.
„There is not a single statesman in the West who is brave enough to stand up against these corrupt Zionists, who have dominated the European nations and the US, and humiliated them with such crimes.“
„There is not a brave statesman in the West. At least it seems so for the present. Maybe one will be found in the future,“ Ahmadinejad said.
He did not however demand that the West have a turnabout and oppose Israel.
“We lower our expectations,“ he said. „We don’t want you to counter such crimes, although you are morally obliged to do so.“

Instead, he demanded objectivity from Western governments, and said, „[We want you to] remain neutral. Withdraw your support from these Zionists.“

Nedas Verlobter in Israel

Caspian Makan, Verlobter der vom iranischen Regime ermordeten Neda Agha Soltan, wurde in Israel von Präsident Shimon Peres empfangen:

On a more personal note, Peres told Makam that he understood how difficult it was for him to carry the burden of grief. He assured Makam that he would find friends and a very warm reception in Israel, and added that he appreciated the fact that Makam had given him the opportunity to personally convey his condolences over the tragedy and to express his hopes for Iran’s future.
Makam replied that he had been impressed by what he had already seen in Israel. It was in his a view a country that respected its citizens and allowed them total freedom – a situation that contrasted radically with that of Iran.
Before leaving, Makam said that he had come to Israel on behalf of his people as an ambassador of the peace camp. He had no doubt that Nada’s soul felt the warmth and the sensitivity of the reception he had been accorded in Israel.

Want Peace Between Israel and the Palestinians? Bring Down the Tehran Regime

Michael Ledeen weist darauf hin, dass Obamas „Durchgreifen“ gegen Israel nicht nur moralisch verwerflich, sonderm dem „Friedensprozess“ hinderlich ist. Das größte Problem des Nahen Ostens und die größte Bremse für jeden Frieden liegt bekanntermaßen wo anders:

I do know about Iran, and I know that the Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah have a lot to say about the Palestinian groups.  Both Hamas and Fatah are funded, armed, and trained by the mullahs and their creatures.  On many occasions Iran has exercised a veto, most recently–according to Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas–wrecking a “unity” plan for a single Palestinian position in talks with Israel.  Abbas said that

“Iran doesn’t want Hamas to sign the Cairo reconciliation document…”  Abbas said Hamas objected to signing an Egyptian-brokered deal with Fatah because of opposition from Teheran, and argued that the Palestinians should be “free from Iranian tutelage.”

I draw a simple conclusion from this sort of thing:  it’s impossible to “solve” the Arab-Israeli thing so long as the mullahs rule in Tehran.  They have too much control over the Palestinians, and they don’t want peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Ergo, the endless kabuki dances, the quartets, the international conferences, the endless schemes, the perpetual negotiations, all that and more,  are totally beside the point.  You have to “do” Iran first.  And the only happy way to do that is to support the Iranian people against the evil regime, and get a government in Tehran that wants to live in peace with its neighbors.

You want to make progress in the “peace process?”  Work for a free Iran.

Europa will Druck ausüben

Natürlich nicht auf die „Islamische Republik“, sondern auf Israel:

The European Union might use its trade ties with Israel as leverage to pressure it into renewing peace talks with the Palestinians, Catherine Ashton, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy at the EU said on Saturday.

Ashton was speaking at an EU foreign minister conference held in Spain. Swedish Foreign Minister, Carl Bildt, said that Israel’s announcement on building in east Jerusalem during United States Vice President Joe Biden’s visit last week was intentional and not coincidental. [Weiterlesen…]

Kleiner Mahmoud, grosser Hass

Man könnte jetzt durchaus einwenden, daß es redundant sei, und zwar absolut, den derzeitigen „Präsidenten“ des Iran in seinen Äußerungen über Israel zu zitieren. Wie es überhaupt redundant ist, ihn zu zitieren, weil er sowieso immer nur dasselbe sagt, wohl auch in Regierungsangelegenheiten nurmehr recht wenig zu sagen hat. Und trotzdem, weil es so unglaublich ist, und weil es immer noch Versuche gibt, den offiziellen Vertreter dieses Staates, dessen Präsident Mahmoud ist, in Deutschland zu Veranstaltungen einzuladen, und weil immer noch die große Erzählung vom angeblich bloß „falsch“ übersetzen Mahmoud durch wirre Köpfe geistert.

Israel Unveils Drones Able to Hit Iran

TEL NOF AIR FORCE BASE, Israel (AP) — Israel’s Air Force on Sunday introduced a fleet of huge pilotless planes that can remain in the air for a full day and fly as far as the Persian Gulf, putting Iran within their range.

The new aircraft, called the Heron TP, has a wingspan of 86 feet, making it the size of a Boeing 737 jetliner and the largest unmanned aircraft in Israel’s military.

The commander of Israel’s Air Force, Maj. Gen. Ido Nehushtan, said the aircraft “has the potential to be able to conduct new missions down the line as they become relevant.”

Israel’s military refused to disclose the size of the new fleet or whether it was designed for use against Iran.
