Mohammed Ali Jafari,  Chef der Revolutionsgarden, hat schlechte Laune. Nicht einmal mehr eine Demonstration gegen die Juden bekommt man hin, ohne drohend Knüppel und Sturmgewehr aus dem Sack holen zu müssen. Die zionistische Zersetzung der Islamischen Republik Iran ist offensichtlich weit fortgeschritten.

Press TV: „The enemies of the revolution and the system and those defeated in the recent election are trying to exact revenge on the people who opened a new chapter in the country’s progress by creating the epic of June 12 and their unprecedented 85 percent turnout, by diversionary slogans, using deceptive and colorful symbols,“ the statement states.

„We warn the individuals and movements who are attempting to encourage the Zionist enemy that, if they intend to create any kind of disturbance or disorder in the magnificent Quds Day rally, then they will be confronted with the decisive confrontation of the brave children of the nation,“ the statement adds.

Der Politbürochef der Revolutionsgarden legt nach. Hatte er bereits Anfang der Woche die Verfolgung von Moussavi & Co. gefordert, kommt er nun erneut damit. Er glaubt, sagt er, daß die Verfolgung Moussavis dem ganzen Protestspuck ein Ende machen würde. Khatmai geht er ebenfalls frontal an. Die Frage ist, wenn einer der Mächtigen der Revolutionsgarden so klar bennenen kann, daß die Genannten Feindes der Islamischen Republik sind – warum sind sie dann noch nicht längst verhaftet? Es ist eine Drohung, aber offensichtlich gibt es zur Zeit immer noch nicht die Möglichkeit sie umzusetzen. Es sei denn, sie würden gleich das halbe Establishment verhafteten.

Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, head of the IRGC’s political bureau, said Thursday that the opposition is responsible for the “blow that has been dealt to the prestige of the establishment.”

On Thursday, he expounded on the issue and said the leaders of the reform movement, particularly Khatami, had “easily conveyed a message to the enemy” that they were after “change” in the establishment.

Großayatollah gegen Revolutionsführer

Ein neues Mullahstatement: Großayatollah Bayat-Zanjani hat gesprochen.  Und Zahra Rahnavard, die Frau von Moussavi, hat auf ihrer Facebookseite eine englische Zusammenfassung:

Grand Ayatollah Bayat-Zanjani: The Supreme Leader other than being fair should also obey the constitution and comply with the Assembly of Experts and as soon as he loses these conditions will automatically loses his position. He emphasized that when …the Assembly of Experts is independent then it can oversees the Supreme Leader.He also added that the Green movement is a God given gift and people should be hopeful !

Nun, wenn er das so gesagt hat, dann wäre das mehr als nur ein Affront gegenüber dem Revolutionsführer. Und würde den Finger genau in die offene Wunde der sog. „Islamischen Republik“ legen. Ist der „Revolutions“führer der Verfassung untergeordnet? Genügt es nicht mehr, daß er „fair“ ist, also mehr oder minder informell und ohne Kontrolle die wesentlichen Entscheidungen trifft? Ist die Expertenversammlung gar „unabhängig? Könnte es das überhaupt innerhalb der „Islamischen Republik“ geben, ein „unabhängiges“, mithin sogar souveränes Gremium ?

Sektion 209 ist kein Hotel

Die noch recht junge Parlamentskommission, die sich mit der Situation der Gefangenen beschäftigen sollte, hat keinen Sprecher mehr. Der ist gerade zurückgetreten. Nein, nein, sagt er, das habe nichts mit Hindernissen zu tun, die man der Kommission angeblich in den Weg gelegt habe. Warum er zurückgetreten ist, kann er allerdings selbst nicht erklären. So ist das gerade im Iran.

Auch zu den Gefangenen hat er nicht viel zu sagen. Die Parlamentarier haben zwar das Evingefängnis besucht, dabei aber nur folgende, nur in einem Punkt wirklich originelle Erkenntnisse gewonnen:

He asserted [Kazem Jalali, der zurückgetretene Sprecher] that the detainees who were held in section 209 — the part of the prison under complete supervision of the Intelligence Ministry and not the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps — were not mistreated, tortured or abused in any way, shape or form.

The Iranian parliamentarian dismissed media reports of harsh conditions in the detention center, adding that the prisoners were only upset about their prolonged stay in prison without a definite idea as to what would happen to them. Jalali had earlier said „it is only natural for prisoners to feel ill at ease. After all, it’s a prison, not a hostel.“

Irans Augenausstecher

Die iranischen Revolutionsgarden lassen ihre Maske fallen

Bis zum 12. Juni, als die Revolutionsgarden öffentlich bei der Niederschlagung der Protestkundgebung als Stützpfeiler des Regimes in Erscheinung traten, hielten sich die Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) im Hintergrund. Geheimdienstkenner sagen, dass über die Organisation wenig bekannt ist, was Struktur und operative Befehlshaber der Revolutionsgarden (auch Pasdaran) betrifft. Während meines Besuchs in Teheran letzten Monat sprach ich mit einem iranischen Experten und ehemaligen Journalisten, der mir erklärte, dass es zwei Dinge gibt, die im Iran sehr sorgfältig abgeschirmt sind: die IRGC und das Büro des Führers Ajatollah Ali Khamenei.

Aber wenigstens jetzt bestätigen die Pasdaran öffentlich ihre Rolle. Dazu ihr „Politischer Führer“ Yadollah Javani:

Wir standen während dieser Wahlen einem verborgenen Aufwiegler gegenüber, einem Unruhestifter, der die neuen Spaltungen verursachte. Während dieser Ereignisse wurde das Auge des Aufwieglers beschädigt aber es wurde nicht geblendet. Nun muss das Auge des Aufwieglers vollständig zum Erblinden gebracht und ausgemerzt werden, und dies kann bewerkstelligt werden, indem man das Geschehen hinter den Kulissen aufklärt.

Schemen im Teheraner Sandsturm

Über Teheran bläst heute der Sandsturm. Es soll sich um Sand aus Iraks Wüsten handeln. Nehmen wir es als Symbolik. Seit die Verkrustungen des Nahen Ostens aufbrechen, hilft kein Pflastern und kein Zuschmieren mehr. Auch wenn das alles länger dauert als man einmal vor Jahren gehofft hat und manche Entwicklung zuweilen verworrene und blutige Umwege nimmt, bis sie die richtige Richtung endlich  einschlägt.

Schemenhafte Bewegungen hinter dem Dunstschleier. „Kargozaran“, die Partei von Rafsandjani über das Wahlergebnis:

We declare that the result is unacceptable due to the unhealthy voting process, massive electoral fraud and the siding of the majority of the Guardian Council with a specific candidate,“ the party’s statement said.

Rafsandjani, der sich die ganze Zeit über so bemerkenswert zurückgehalten hat, läßt sprechen. Warum eigentlich jetzt?

“We came up against a deep mischief during this election. A mischief that gave birth to the new divisions,” Javani said. “During these events, the eye of the mischief was damaged, but it was not blinded. Now the eye of the mischief must be blinded completely and gouged out, and this can be done by illuminating the events behind the scenes.”

Speaking at the same conference, Commander of the IRGC Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said: “We are convinced that the IRGC must play a deciding role in the preservation and continuation of the revolution.”

Wieder etwas Knacken

BBC-Journalist John Simpson berichtet über ehemalige Mitglieder der Revolutionsgarde:

For reasons best not explained, I’ve come to know a former member of the Revolutionary Guards really well.

He’s done some pretty dreadful things in his life, from attacking women in the streets for not wearing the full Islamic gear to fighting alongside Islamic revolutionaries in countries abroad.
And yet now, in the tumult that has gripped Iran since its elections last week, he’s had a change of heart.
He’s become a backer of Mir Hossein Mousavi, the reformist candidate who alleges fraud in the elections. He’s saved up the money to send his son to a private school abroad, and he loathes President Ahmadinejad.
He’s not the only one.
I had to leave Iran last Sunday, when the authorities refused to renew my visa. But before I left, another former senior Revolutionary Guard came to our hotel to see us.
„Remember me,“ he pleaded. „Remember that I helped the BBC.“
I realised that even a person so intimately linked to the Islamic Revolution thinks that something will soon change in Iran.
